Weakly Critics brings a new feature: Auditory Nostalgia. Stories that I remember when I hear a song. It’s a bit deep, personal, and wordy but read it through. I’m sure it’s at least interesting.

Trying something different on WeaklyCritics this week. A new feature that will hit a little more personal to me. But WeaklyCritics is a media review/recommendation site first, personal diary last, so I’m introducing Auditory Nostalgia. First feature up tomorrow.

“I saw 21 Jump Street opening day because I was so excited about it. And even though I loved it I had no idea what to say. I mean when something so thoroughly meets and satisfies your expectations it’s hard to think of anything else to say. But after having the weekend to think about it, I can finally put in words why I loved this movie….”

It’s only march but I’ve already got that summer feeling. To me that means a drive with windows down, new shades, slightly intoxicated swimming, late night adventures, and lazily listening to lo-fi/garage rock while talking about girls, parties, and the lack of the former two. Is it really only spring break?
